The grief and shock experienced after a miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death can be shattering.  It can be a time where you may feel alone and like no one understands.  It can be difficult to know how to start rebuilding and dealing with all the emotions and feels that accompany this time.

Sarah is a skilled compassionate therapist who understands the sadness and despair following loss.  Sarah offers a safe and supportive environment for those who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death to receive massage treatment.

Your physical and mental health are important.  There are increased mental health risks for those who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death.  Massage can help support and nurture the body and mind at this time by addressing

  • Muscle tension and pain associated with anxiety, stress, grief and depression
  • Relaxation and stress relief
  • Assist in cortisol homeostasis from distress, anxiety and stress-related imbalances (1-5)
  • Assist in neurotransmitter homeostasis from distress, anxiety and stress-related imbalances (1-5)
  • May assist in stress related fatigue
